EthoVision XT error ID 14005 Chart creation failed
This error occurs when you go the Statistics & Charts section of EthoVision XT and the warning message below pops up.
While you will still be able to get your data, this error indicates that the software component for generating the charts under the Groups Statistics & Charts tab is missing/corrupt.
While the warning message suggests reinstalling the EthoVision XT software, the easiest solution is to close the EthoVision XT software, go to your Start menu, type in “Programs and Features” and in the list look to see if a program called “Noldus ChartWrapperControl 2” is present. If so, please highlight it and click “Uninstall”. If not present, then move to the next step.
After uninstalling, please close the window above and use MyNoldus to download this file (if the EthoVision XT PC is offline, then simply download the program to a portable storage device and take to the EthoVision XT PC):
This version is used in EthoVision XT 12, 13, 14, and 15. If you need this component for a different version of EthoVision, please contact support.
Double-click or run the downloaded file to install it. Once installed, please reopen EthoVision XT and see if the issue is resolved.
